Chef Shari Douyon has been enjoying the art of cooking for as long as she can remember. Although she decided to take a different career path at a young age, she realized at the age of 24 that food has always been her passion. While working at an attorney's office as a paralegal she decided one day to visit the near by Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School of Arts. She immediately fell in love. The smell of the fresh bread baking down the Pastry and Baking section of the school or the big production kitchen had her intrigued.

Chef Shari Douyon worked as a Pantry/Pastry line cook in one of Atlanta's hippest Asian fusion restaurant. What a new experience from the corporate world. She took a chance and left the her job as a Real Estate Paralegal and started a career in the Culinary field. Shortly after completing her internship, she went on and start working for one of the most reputable and most luxury hotel brands.

She walked in the kitchen in 2004 and never looked back. From there Chef Shari only proceeded to excel in all areas in the kitchen. She spent 5 years in Atlanta where she discovered her love of soul food. Being raised in Miami, Fl and Haitian background most of her culinary experience has been Caribbean influenced, although she has traveled all around the world and experienced food from different cultures.

Shari received many awards for her hard work and dedication throughout her time in Atlanta in which she is so grateful for. She decided to move her family back to Miami in 2011, after giving birth to her first son. She transferred from The Ritz Carlton, Atlanta to The Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne. Her passion and love of making people happy with good food continued to grow. She is a well seasoned chef having worked in all types of kitchen environments.

Although she has the pleasure of working with such an amazing company, Chef Shari decided to start up her own catering business which brings you to this page. She has catered events of all types from children's birthday parties to an elegant wedding plated dinner. There isn’t anything she cannot do. One thing you can rest assure, all her recipes and creations are made with love. Her attention to detail will leave you over impressed and wanting to spread the word to everyone you know.
